Reduce maintenance costs during downtime by regenerating through overlay welding within the mill!

The PCI mill experiences wear on its components due to long operational periods and the use of poor-quality coal. Therefore, wear-resistant measures for the table liner, rollers, and separators, as well as hardfacing technology for regeneration, are required. Since the maintenance period for the PCI mill is limited, regenerating within the mill through hardfacing welding eliminates unnecessary work and reduces maintenance costs during frequent downtime. With automatic hardfacing technology that allows for simultaneous construction of three rollers or the simultaneous construction of one roller and the table liner, regeneration within the mill can be performed more easily and safely, enabling the completion of necessary maintenance within the limited downtime. The "Waste Plastic Recycling Technology" can restore the mechanical strength of plastics to the level of new resin pellets, particularly by improving properties such as toughness. We have recently received a license from Fukuoka University and have installed an extruder in-house that can implement this technology. We aim to prototype and manufacture recycled resin pellets from waste plastics, offer measurement services for the mechanical strength of these materials, explore molded products, and pursue mass production commercialization using this innovative technology. Currently, the main materials successfully restoring resin properties and toughness are waste plastics of PE and PP. In the future, we plan to consider different types of waste plastics as well.
